As a member state of the European Union, Slovenia introduced the euro (€) as its currency on 1st January 2007. There were 296.3 million coins minted in the total value of 103.909.000 EUR.
Most of the shops accept international credit and payment cards. There is also a wide network of ATMs where you can withdraw money in cash.
